After bringing in big bucks at the box office this year with their biopic film Straight Outta Compton, N.W.A. is now being recognize for another outstanding achievement. Its reported, the West Coast group will join the likes of icons Deep Purple, Chicago, Cheap Trick, and Steve Miller for this year's inductees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Dr. Dre and Ice Cube share words with Rolling Stone.

I am humbled to be included in such an amazing group of great artists.”N.W.A. are now the fifth rap act to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class joining the likes of Run-D.M.C, Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, and Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five. The honorary ceremony will take place in NY at the Barclay Center on April 8, which will air on HBO.
