[New Mixtape] G Herbo "Ballin' Like I'm Kobe"

The wait is over! Chicago rapper G Herbo (aka Lil Herb) finally releases his long-awaited project for the streets called Ballin' Like I'm Kobe . The project contains 15 new tracks and it includes production from DJ L, C-Sick, Southside, and a handful of others along with a feature from Lil Herb's childhood friend, Lil Bibby. Since the release of his new mixtape Mr All I Want Is Money , Butta Da Great has dropped a number of visuals to support his new project. First, we've seen his video "All I Want Is Money" featuring Cap 1 and "Hella Racks" featuring Katie Got Bandz and now, the Chicago rapper is ready to drop another called "Check A Bag." Chance The Rapper Is A New Daddy

Congrats are in order for Chance The Rapper. The Chicago rapper and his long-time girlfriend have welcomed a new baby in the world. Chance took to Instagram yesterday to share his awesome news. "I got to take my child home. Thank God, her mother, our families, the medical staff at Women's Prentice and an amazing organization called The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicago. I love this time in my life, and I've learned to love better because of it. I wanted make a grandiose and poetic statement with her weight and size and DOB to show how much this means to me, but I think it' be more appropriate and fatherly of me to just say thanks to those who helped us during this pregnancy, and ask for a little privacy in this for me and my new family to get settled."  This is great news for Chance and his family. We wish you the best with your new bundle of joy...

[Video] Snoop Dogg Spotted On Set of R Kelly's New Video "Backyard Party"

Last week, it was a lot of rumors and speculation surrounding R Kelly, after an anonymous message was passed around on social media saying that the "King of R&B" was seeking people to attend his video shoot for his new single "Backyard Party." Well, guess what? The rumors must be true. Last night, Kellz was spotted on set of his video shoot and he was joined by hip hop legend Snoop Dogg. The video is taken from R Kelly's upcoming album Buffet , which is set to drop on September 25th. Until then, watch the snippet of Kellz and Snoop Dogg confirming the new video after the jump.

Kendrick Lamar & Future Scheduled To Headline WGCI's 'Big Jam' 2015 at the United Center

Back in June of 2015, WGCI put on one of the biggest shows in music headlining Lil Wayne for the 2nd installment of their Summer Jam series, and now, Chicago's number #1 Hip Hop and R&B radio station is back with something bigger. Come October 25th, WGCI is set to kick-off a new ' Big Jam '  series. Its set to take place at the United Center and will headline Kendrick Lamar and Future. [Photos] "Tainted Goodes" Stageplay Hits Chicago

Last week on August 27th, Cortri Trotter Productions, Third Baptist Church of Chicago, and GoSity Entertainment proudly presented a great stageplay called Tainted Goodes in Chicago. It was held at the Harold Washington Cultural Center, in the Bronzeville area, and it was packed with supporters.  Bringing back great music and an awesome storyline to the stage, Writer and Director Cortri Trotter and Music Director Rev. Eddie Williams, III put on a fantastic production with a lot of twisted plots.  "George and Anna Goode came up from nothing, but worked their entire lives to build an EMPIRE, all the while covering up a dangerous family secret. When skeletons fall out the closet, lives are changed forever."  The play starred Mz. Sharelle Pierce of Real Radio RawTV on Power 92, Comedian Marvin Phipps, Blake Martin of Studio B Productions and featured a Youth Choir from various denominations. Other cast members included Ms. Valerie McEwen, Eric Epps, Dawn Brown, Boaz
