This past weekend, in the City of Chicago, some of the biggest names in entertainment stopped in town for a powerful afternoon of live discussing called Dreams Protected Tour . The event took place on the City's North Side and it was hosted by A.J. Calloway from NBC's Extra. Throughout the event, Calloway sat down one-on-one with well known celebrities as they shared their success story with a friendly live audience. They spoke on everything from marketing and branding to educating singers about music. They even gave helpful business tips to aspiring and future entrepreneurs. Celebrity names included: Business Mogul Lisa Price, Gospel recording artist VaShawn Mitchell, Comedian Cedric The Entertainer, and Chicago icon and legend George Daniels. Big Jam just got 'Bigger!' We just learned from our friends at WGCI , Rapper Rick Ross and Wale of Maybach Music will perform at this year's Big Jam 2012! The event is scheduled for Friday November 16, and its taking place at the Allstate Arena! Also, we hear R&B singer Usher Raymond will make a cameo appearance along with other acts like Fat Joe, Future, Keyshia Cole, Kelly Rowland and the rest to be announced! On last night (October 21), R&B singer K. Michelle , from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,  stopped in the City of Chicago for a one night performance. The event took place at Alhambra Palace and the night was off the chain!

On last night (October 18), some of the sexiest ladies in Chicago stepped out in their leggings, skirts, and heels to get up close and personal with one of R&B's biggest stars – Bobby V . This intimate jam session took place in the City’s West Loop at a local nightclub called Red Kiva. It was hosted by WGCI's own DJ Dimepiece along with the help of DJ 33 1/3 and DJ Moondawg!

Bad day for Chief Keef! According to Chicago Sun Times reports , the rapper, who real name Keith Cozart, maybe in trouble with the law again after prosecutors claim he violated his probation for having a gun in a video posted online. For those who don't know, the rapper is serving 18 months of probation for pointing a gun at a Chicago police officer; therefore, it bans him for having any guns or illegal drugs! This past weekend, in the City of Chi, one of the sexiest Libras alive celebrated her birthday in style amongst the City's elite.  Her name is Nikki Burnett and she's someone you should know!

When it comes to working hard and reaching goals, I think nobody does it better than Chicago's own Nina Chantele . Not only is she a co-host for WGCI's Morning Riot, she's also a radio personality for KISS FM and a contributor for WLS-TV's Windy City Live as well. On this morning, we learned Chantele (a lady known making news) had the honor of meeting another young lady who has accomplished some pretty big goals of her own - Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas. According to our source, Chantele interviewed the star olympian this past weekend during a fundraiser event called "Pink Pearls & Pretty Dresses." We're told this mother/daughter brunch was formed to help empower young girls lead into the world and judging by the guests in attendance, we can tell it was very inspirational. Wow! This past weekend, in the City of Chicago, a star was born at Demi Lobo's "Most Talented Under 12" singing competition! His name is Quintavious Johnson and he's simply amazing! Throughout the event, this young kid from Nashville Tennessee captivated the crowd, from start to finish, with his outstanding vocals crowning him first place like last year's winner Mae Ya Ryan, who was also in the attendance.  We understand he won a total prize package of $7000 which includes six months of free services from Chicago entertainment attorney Exavier Pope... plus a one month blog spotlight from producer Doc Little and $1300 cash.
