Today, I want to introduce to the scene, A.J. Partee. He's a 16 year old CPS student, born and raised on the Westside of Chicago, and he just started his own company called  VULTURE CLOTHING CO. A.J. says the company got it's feet off the ground in his parents basement at home and from there, he pushed the brand out to the streets to share with his friends, family, and fellow classmates at school. The hip hop apparel consists of t-shirts, sweaters, and hoodies which comes in fashionable colors. He also plans to push snapbacks and jackets, but for now, he's focusing on what's in demand for his line. Sharing a dose of her hit single "Medicine," Queen Naija stopped in Chicago last night to perform at the 10th Anniversary of the "Surround Sound of Fashion event." The show took place at the Bentley store, in Chicago's Gold Coast, and it was curated by Nathan Gilbert and sponsored by Courvoisier. Throughout the night, fashion models displayed the latest trends in design, while the city's most elite socialites and taste-makers mixed and mingled to the sounds of live music and special performances. The event also featured hip hop recording artist King Combs as the opening act and they brought out Chicago's very own Vic Mensa as the closer. Check out pictures and video of the event below.

On yesterday, Kanye West kicked off All-star Weekend in New York City with a packed house at his Adidas Fashion Show. And not only did he premiere the launch of his new Yeezy Boosts, those in attendance got to hear a new song from his forthcoming album. The track is called "Wolves" and it features Sia and Vic Mensa. Yeezy season is now upon us and thanks to Ibn Jasper , we get a first look of Kanye West wearing his new Adidas 'Yeezy 3.' Word in the streets, the long-awaited shoe is expected to drop on Feb. 12 during New York Fashion Week, which happens to be NBA All-star Weekend in New York as well. Back in January, Sean Mac flooded the streets of Chicago when he presented the first edition of his new clothing line "Casket!" Last night, he did it again! This time with the all new "Coke Wave." The event took place in Chicago's West Loop with a packed house of supporters, grabbing their attention with new tees, snapbacks, hoodies, and more. Check pictures from the event after the jump. 

On Saturday, Hip Hop legend Twista came out to celebrate the launch of Adidas  Heat of the Bull sneaker. The event was held at Villa, on Chicago's North Side, and it was hosted by Dave Jeff. During the event, Twista took pictures with fans, signed autographs, and he even put on a free show along with Chance The Rapper. Fans also got the opportunity to meet Fakeshore Drive and aspiring artist Hebru Brantley, who unveiled his Heat of the Bull painting, inspired by the new Adidas shoe. Over 25 years ago,  Legendary rapper Rakim  blessed the world with his distinctive flow and rhymes, when he dropped his iconic album "Paid In Full." Now its 2013, and the rapper, we know as the "God MC," is still doing his thing.  Last night, the legendary rapper stopped in Chicago for an amazing one night performance. The event took place at The Shrine and he had the whole crowd going nuts, while  DJ 33 1/3 supplied and orchestrated his hip hop classics.

Last night (December 29), R&B singer Tamar Braxton  stopped in the City of Wind to heat up a cold winter night. The event took place in Chicago's South Suburbs at Billboard Live and the night was filled with full of excitement.  Throughout the event, the Reality star received nothing but love, from the minute she stepped in the door with her husband (Vince Herbert). She took time to interact and take pics with all her fans and she even sung her latest track "Love & War," before leaving the building.

We all should know, by now, when you enter a Kanye West concert, expect to see something different and unique. Last night, the rapper caught the attention of everybody, when he performed in front of a sold out crowd, wearing a mask. The event took place at Revel Hotel in Atlantic City and it has everybody asking questions. Dressed in an all black tux with dark shades, Super promoter Donski  celebrated his birthday in style last night in the City of Wind. The event took place in the City's South Loop with DJ Sean Mac rocking the one's and two's.  The event was also packed with some of Chicago's most elite players, along with local favorites like R&B singer J-Lyn, DJ Sho-time, Nard of Do or Die, Nusense of Psychodrama, and new R&B singer Pierre. Dressed in all black with bright gold chains, Rapper Young Jeezy stopped in the City of Wind last night for a house rocking performance! The event took place at the Congress Theater on Chicago's North Side and the whole night was turnt up! From start to finish, Jeezy delivered! He gave the crowd exactly what they wanted - the hits. If you stay in the Chicagoland area, you may have seen several people wearing all black clothing with the word Casket printed on it. Some of you may have seen pics of it on social media or by looking at trendsetters on the nightlife scene. My question is, "what is it?" According to our source , its a new fashion brand and it plans to drop its official launch come 2013, but on Black Friday (November 23), it plans to drop new line of crew neck sweaters.
