The event was held at LDRS in Downtown Chicago and Common gave fans the opportunity to take pics with him, while getting an signed copy of his album. The project includes brand new tracks and its Common's solo debut on Def Jam/Artium Records. Its produced by Chicago's very own No I.D. and it features Jhene Aiko, Lil Herb, Dreezy, Vince Staples, and more. Last night, Jay Z and Beyonce made their way to Chi-town with the most talked about tour of 2014, On The Run . The summer event took place at Soldier Field and it was packed with screaming fans. From start to finish, the power couple electrified the stage and did not disappoint their fans at all. The music sounded great and the stage production was spectacular with lighting and lots of short films.  During the show, Jay and Bey performed a long list of their solo songs, along with their collaborative hits. This will be the 8th year for this event and it will take place in Chicago on Aug. 15-17.  Same as before, the Forum will include working professionals from the worlds of television, film, music, and media. This event will be presented by ParentPowerChicago, an organization whose mission is to provide tools and resources for parents to regain or maintain their traditional position with the family structure.  The event will also include this year's Honorary Music Chair and Keynote Speaker: No I.D., whose known for being the Executive VP of Def Jam Recordings and a Grammy Awards Winning Producer. Kanye West Talks About Jay Z & Beyonce Skipping His Wedding In GQ Magazine

This past weekend, GQ revealed the cover for its August 2014 issue with Superstar rapper Kanye West. In the issue, Ye talks about everything from marrying Kim Kardashian to speaking on music. He also reveals on how felt about Jay Z and Beyonce not attending his wedding, which he states: "All that, I wouldn't even speak on. It doesn't even matter to me whatsoever, who would show up. Because the most important person to show up there, to me, was Kim. And that's all that matters to me. I had to fight for that for seven years. Continuing to push his brand to the next level, Chicago entrepreneur and nightlife deejay Sean Mac released a new edition for his clothing line, Casket , tonight (7/18). [Video] Floyd Mayweather Promotes Rematch With Maidana In Chicago

Earlier today (7,15), Boxing champion Floyd 'Money' Mayweather stopped in Chicago on his national tour to promote his upcoming rematch with Maidana. During his visit, at the Congress Hotel, Floyd spoke to the media about giving Maidana another chance at the title and why it means so much to boxing. He also spoke on Lebron James returning to Cleveland, his family, women boxing and more.  Afterwards, Mayweather and Maidana took the stage at The Auditorium, in Downtown Chicago, to talk to their loyal fans about the rematch and to sign autographs. We all know R Kelly can make any genre of music but could we see the "King of R&B" making a House album in the future. Well, the superstar singer stopped by the Chosen Few DJ Picnic last weekend, in his hometown Chicago, and mentioned he got music on the way, which he states below. "I want ya'll to know a secret, I'm working on a House album right now, and I want ya'll to it's comin. I love music and I feel like I can do anything when it comes to music, because I am music." Rumors has it, Kellz is also set to be working on a follow-up project to his latest album Black Panties with a new album called White Panties and we might see a duet album from him with Mary J Blige. Meanwhile, Kellz currently teamed up with his fellow Chicagoan, Jennifer Hudson, for her new feel good song called "Its Your World," which is produced by House music legend Terry Hunter.

Fresh off the heels of winning two trophies at the BET Awards, R&B singer August Alsina stopped in Chicago this past holiday weekend at 107.5 WGCI to talk with radio personality Demi Lobo. During his visit, the Def Jam recording artist spoke on Melo possibly joining the Chicago Bulls and his BET Awards experience. He also talked about being on Essence Fest in his hometown, New Orleans. "Yeah, I'm at home [New Orleans] and I actually never-ever attended the Essence Fest but its so special... of course, I'm aware of it... so its dope for me to actually be apart of it."  Later in the interview, Lobo got the R&B singer to open up about the suicidal images on social media and the controversy surrounding his latest new video called "FML." Promoting his upcoming album Let's Get It ,  rapper Cash Out stopped in Chicago this past Thursday to kick off 4th of July weekend with the City's number #1 urban radio station, WGCI . During his visit, Cash first made his way to WGCI's studio to talk live, over the airwaves, with DJ Moondawg. They talked about his past success with "Cashin Out" and spoke on his new project, which drops Aug. 5. Afterwards, Cash Out joined the WGCI team and their loyal listeners for a night of fun and celebration at the Shrine. During the event, Cash stepped in the building ready to party, while taking pictures with his fans. If you didn't get enough fireworks for the 4th of July holiday, you should have been in the Chi this past weekend to see the beautiful, sexy Erica Mena. The 'Love and Hip Hop' reality star stopped in town, last night, to host a party in the City's South Suburbs and she had the place on fire and turned up.   From the minute she stepped in the building, at Billboard Live, Erica captivated the crowd and owned the night, wearing a gold and brown two-piece dress. She also popped Patron and poured shots for the ladies and took a gain of selfies with all her fans.  Afterwards, Erica took the stage with money and made it rain on the female exotic strippers and danced before leaving the building. [Video] Common Holds "Nobody Smiling" Listening Party In Chicago

In support of his upcoming album Nobody Smiling , Common stopped in his hometown, Chicago, last night to host an exclusive listening party for his project at Untitled. It was presented by Miller Fortune and Complex Media and the place was packed with Com's family, friends, Chicago industry, & fans.  Kicking off the event, Rhymefest, the host of the evening, greeted the crowd and introduced Common to the stage. During their discussion, they talked about Common joining his longtime friend No ID at Def Jam/Artium and what inspired him to make his tenth studio album. They also talked about the violence going on in Common's hometown and why he reached out to Chicago artist for this project.
