Meek Mill To Perform Free Concert In Chicago Before Bears-Packers Game

Part of Jay Z's new initiative with the NFL, Meek Mill is set to perform a free concert. The pre-game show will take place before the Bears-Packers game and it will be located in Chicago's Grant Park.  According to our source , the Philly rapper is scheduled to hit the stage at 6:30 pm on September 5th and a portion of the performance will be aired on NBC and NFL Network.  It's also reported the pre-game show will have performances from Meghan Trainer and Rapsody, who are the first Inspire Change advocates joining Meek Mill to kick off the 2019 NFL season.

It's produced and bodied by the legendary Soundmaster T (Droked Out Music) and it's featuring Katie Got Bandz and El Hitta. WGCI's Leon Rogers To Host New Late-Night Show On Fox 32

After years of hard work in the business, comedian Leon Rogers is ready to take things to another level. According to  sources , the Destined Legend is gearing up to host a late-night show on Fox 32. Rogers took to social media yesterday to confirm the news with his followers. He mentioned the show is called Later with Leon and it's scheduled to kick off on September 9 at 10pm. He also added his co-host will be the super talented Tia Ewing, who happens to be a reporter for Fox 32 Chicago.  "Trust me when I tell you this one IS FOR THE GO!" In the meantime, you can catch Leon Rogers every weekday as a co-host on WGCI's Morning Show with Kyle and Kendra G. 

Master P Set To Bring "No Limit Reunion" Tour To Chicago

Selling over 100 millions records worldwide, Master P's No Limit label is successfully known as one of the biggest independent companies of all time and now he's back and ready to hit the road again. Come this Fall, the Colonel is gathering his troops for a 20 Year Anniversary Tour and it's stopping in Chicago. The show is set for Saturday, November 30th and it's taking place at Credit Union 1 Arena. No Limit artists will be performing all of their greatest hits and the show will feature Master P, Slikk The Shocker, Mia X, Fiend, Mr Serv On, Choppa Style, Lil Romeo, Young Bleed, and Weebie. Right now, it's no sign of Mystikal being on the bill, but it does show the homie Plies coming in as a special guest. Take a look at the video below and check Ticketmaster for more information.

Chris Brown Coming To The United Center

They say he's the "Michael Jackson of our time" and now, R&B singer Chris Brown is ready to hit the road again. Come this Fall, the platinum recording artist is scheduled to perform live in Chicago with his  Indigoat Tour . The show is schedule for September 26 and it's set to place at the United Center. The show also feature Tory Lanez, Ty Dolla $ign, Joyner Lucas, and Yella Beezy; however, the artist line-up is subject to change without notice. Drake Brings OVO Store To Chicago's Gold Coast

We all know Drake is known as one of the best ever in music and now, he's taking a shot at fashion.  This past weekend, the Young Money rapper opened up a new OVO store in Downtown Chicago.  Located on State and Walton, in the City's Gold Coast area, Drake's new store stands out from it's surroundings. His signature logo (the owl) is highlighted in gold and the building is painted in black.  Inside, you will find the freshest t-shirts, hoodies, crew necks, snapbacks, and other exclusive pieces from the collection. The store gives you a taste of hip hop with high-end fashion and it's definitely spacious with dope vibes. Right now, it's no word if Drake will ever make any special appearances at the store, but I'm sure he's bound to stop by some day.   For now, check out some of our pictures after the jump and don't forget to shop at the OVO store.

Bud Billiken Parade Celebrates 90 Years In Chicago

Celebrating 90 years of excellence, Bud Billiken Parade delivered it's annual event today in Chicago. The festivities took place on the City's Southside and it was filled with fun for the community.   During the event, actor/comedian Lil Rel Howery served as this year's Grand Marshal and he was followed by a host of others, including Mayor Lori Lightfoot and R&B singer BJ The Chicago Kid.  The parade also showcased some young talented bands and drill teams, in addition to having a lot of magnificent floats, that happened to have some of your favorite celebrities standing on deck. You had the opportunity to eat some amazing food, listen to music, and so much more. I'm telling you, the 90th Bud Billiken Parade was lit and it was a sight to see for the thousands of people who attended.  After the jump, check out some of my videos and photos from the parade and don't forget to share your comments.
