Charlamagne Tha God Stops In Chicago To Promote New Book "Shook One"

From the best selling author who brought you "Black Privilege," Charlamagne Tha God dropped by Chicago this past weekend to promote his new book "Shook One," which took place at two locations. Kicking off the first event, The Breakfast Club co-host conducted an opened discussion in front of a sold-out crowd at DePaul University and it was moderated by WGCI's Morning Show host Kendra G. The second event was a book signing, filled with fans, and it took place at  2nd & Charles bookstore. During both events, C Tha God interacted with fans and took time out for plenty of pictures. He also conducted short interviews, which he explained more about the book and his upbringing with anxiety. "People think I'm successful because I'm fearless. Snoop Dogg Living His Best Life With New Stage Play "Redemption of a Dogg" In Chicago

Living his best life, legendary rapper Snoop Dogg stopped in Chicago last night with his new stage play Redemption of a Dogg. The event took place at the Arie Crown and it was packed with fans. Produced by Je'Caryous Johnson, the play shows Snoop Dogg, as a rapper, who travels through time trying to redo bad decisions in his life, while accompanied by an angel (played by Tamar Braxton). Snoop Dogg is also joined by cast members: Demetria McKinney (who plays his wife), Eric Benet (who plays his manager) and a long list of others. The play is a must see and I suggest you go see it. During his visit, the LBC rapper spoke on his latest Gospel album, longevity in the game, and more. Sharing a dose of her hit single "Medicine," Queen Naija stopped in Chicago last night to perform at the 10th Anniversary of the "Surround Sound of Fashion event." The show took place at the Bentley store, in Chicago's Gold Coast, and it was curated by Nathan Gilbert and sponsored by Courvoisier. Throughout the night, fashion models displayed the latest trends in design, while the city's most elite socialites and taste-makers mixed and mingled to the sounds of live music and special performances. The event also featured hip hop recording artist King Combs as the opening act and they brought out Chicago's very own Vic Mensa as the closer. Check out pictures and video of the event below.
