Yesterday (5/27), we caught up with 'Grammy Award Winner' Estelle in Downtown Chicago at LDRS (Leaders). During our discussion, the British singer talked to us about her song "Make Her Say (Beat It Up)," upcoming album True Romance , and being in the lineup with Prince for 2014 Essence Fest.  Estelle also talked about Kanye West getting married and spoke briefly about the success she had with him on her song "Amercian Boy." In support of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Adidas kicks off  The Dream: All In Or Nothing campaign. The new ad features new music from Kanye West and its called "God Level." The commercial doesn't show any sign of Kanye's new shoes with Adidas, but its still cool to watch. Check new ad (below).

Over the last few years in Chicago, the City has been known in national headlines, around the world, for its increasingly shootings and gang violence. Fortunately, on yesterday (5/23), communities came together with a new initiative to help take back the streets and encourage kids to put the guns down.  The events took place across the city and it was filled with fun, food, music, and more neighborhood activities for families and kids. During one of the events, we caught up with WGCI's Tony Scufield on the City's South Side and he was joined by Father Pfleger, Chicago's 1st Lady Amy Emanuel, and House legend Farley Jackmaster Funk. Rapper Lil Bibby came out to celebrate being on this year's XXL Freshmen Cover  in his hometown Chicago today (May 10) with an exclusive "Meet and Greet." The event took place at DTLR in the City's South Loop and it was hosted by Hustle Simmons, along with a place packed with supporters. During the event, Bibby took pictures with fans and answered questions involving everything from his relationship with Drake to his SXSW experience. He also talked about being on the XXL cover. "I didn't go to sleep that day... so I woke up sleepy, man. It was a lot of people in there, a lot of cameras, man. I got to answer like two thousand questions so I was a lil tired but it was all good. The movie is director by Hype Williams and its being produced by West's very own production team. The project also gives credit to Bret Easton Ellis (author of American Psycho) as the film's writer.
