Jah Rista Drops New Video "Alacago" feat Whoa Boi

Gearing up for the release of his upcoming album The Pariah , Jah Rista releases the 2nd video from the project called "Alacago." It features Whoa Boi and it's produced by the legendary Soundmaster T. The video kicks off with a scene from Rista previous video "No Cap No Spaces" and then it shows him coming into the barbershop - the next morning - as he shares details with his friends about his wild night after leaving the club. It's directed by DaWreck Visuals and you can watch it below.

Baha Banks Drops New Video "Black Barbie"

Empowering women of color, while being bold and unapologetically confident in her own skin, Baha Banks returns on the scene with a brand new offering for the streets. Today, we received a hot new video from the Chicago rapper called "Black Barbie" and it's directed by Drewski Films. In the visual, we see Baha set in a Barbie dream house while Ken (played by comedian Skin Bone) act as her money machine. Moneybagg Yo Set To Headline WGCI's Big Jam 2022

Gearing up for their annual concert series, Chicago's #1 radio station for Hip Hop and R&B WGCI announces this year's lineup for Big Jam . It's scheduled to take place December 3rd at the United Center and it's starring Memphis own Moneybagg Yo. It also stars Nardo Wick, Saucy Santana, Tink, Katie Got Bandz, Sonta and of course GloRilla, who've been lighting up the streets with her hood anthem "FNF." You know King Louie has been known for holding the title "King of Drill" and for being one of the cats who helped kicked off the wave for Chicago rappers like G Herbo and a gang of others. He's also been known for collaborating with artists like Twista and Kanye and now he's back with new music. The Purple Block Party Brings Out The Community & Celebrities At Chicago's Garfield Park

Briahna Gatlin is famously known for owning and operating her own PR firm (Swank PR) for some of Chicago's top hip hop artists and now, this Westside kid is taking a shot at hosting her own events. This past weekend, Gatlin presented and curated her very own music festival Purple Block Party, to bring a sense of pride to her community and to her hometown Chicago. The Purple Block Party event took place on the City's Westside at the historically Garfield Park and it was filled with supporters and Chicago celebrities from throughout the city.  Throughout the event, Gatlin and her team made sure - people from all around - got the chance and opportunity to experience some of the City's best in food, music, art, culture, and so much more. McDonald's Returns To Chicago for 45th All-American Games With Halftime Performance From Lil Baby

  After taking a long hiatus, due to the pandemic, McDonald's returned to the City of Chicago with it's 45th All-American Basketball Games displaying some of the Nation's top high school talent. The round of events took place last night at Wintrust Arena, in the City's South Loop, and yes, it was packed with fans, food, live music, and a ton of excitement for families and kids to enjoy. Kicking off the night, fans witnessed the Ladies Basketball Teams take the floor, in a tough battle, as the Ladies of the East Team dominated the West led by Kira "Ki Ki" Rice, who took home Co-MVP. Ki Ki is a student who attends school in Washington D.C. and she plans to attend UCLA in the Fall. She also received the Morgan Wootten Player of the Year Award earlier this week. Later in the evening, fans in attendance witnessed the Men Basketball Teams go head-to-head, as the East Team beat the West led by Dariq Whitehead of Florida, who took home MVP honors. Gearing up to celebrate it's 45th Anniversary, the McDonald's All-American Game is making it's way back to the City of Chicago. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 29th at Wintrust Arena, in the City's South Loop, and it will showcase high school's most iconic players from across the Nation.  The McDonald's All-American event will also feature Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum artist Lil Baby, who will take the floor for a high-energy halftime performance for fans and players to enjoy. This big event is called "Bulls Fest" and it's set to bring full of excitement for families, which includes hoop games, arts, beats, and plenty of food to eat and drink.  According to the event's  official site , "Bulls Fest" will take place outside the United Center, on the City's Westside, and it's scheduled for the 3rd and 4th of September and it's presented by AT&T. Kanye West Announces "Donda 2" Event In Miami

Yeezy Season has returned! While fans impatiently wait for Kanye West to drop his 2nd installment of the Donda  album series, it seems as though they may get another treat as well. According to Ye's IG post, the "Off The Grid" rapper is expecting to host an event - the same day as the album release. The event is set for 2/22/22 and it's scheduled to take place at LoanDepot Park Stadium in Miami. As of now, no one knows what type of event this will be, but based on the rollout campaign for the 1st Donda album, the event will be more than likely a listening party.  Back in 2021, Kanye West did 3 massive listening parties for the first Donda  installment, which 2 of those took place at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta and the other at Soldier Field in Chicago. Tickets for this upcoming  Donda event will go on-sale February 14th at Noon and it's expecting to go fast so get your tickets.

The track is called "Bussin" and its produced by Swaggyono. It seems like it was just yesterday, when the world was introduced to a 14-year-old kid named Nia Kay on Jermaine Dupri's "The Rap Game" and now, she's all grown-up and she's ready to win. Today, we just received a brand new video from the Chicago rapper and it's called "Go Best Friend," which is a turn-up record that will definitely keep you bouncing and popping bottles in the club.  "A best friend is just someone who is there for you, someone who knows you enough to be there for you when you're not there for yourself," said Nia Kay with Essence Magazine.  She also goes on to add in reference to a best friend "someone who's loyal to you, a ride or die." Pictures have been surfacing - all week - with Kanye West and The Game working in the studio and now we finally have the finished product. The new music is called "Eazy" and it's produced by Hit Boy along with production from the legendary DJ Premier, Mike Dean, Big Duke, and Cash Jones.  On the track, we hear a stand-out sample from the Late Great Eazy-E, while The Game and Kanye snapped on their verses. Growing up on the Westside of Chicago, Realionaire Money knows a thing or two about the streets. Like most kids in the inner city, he grew up in a life of crime and preceded to chase the bag but after having a harsh run-in with the law, Real had a change of plans and walked away from the game. Today, Realionaire lives in Atlanta and has become a renowned entrepreneur with several different businesses, which includes fashion, restaurants, and a gym facility to help keep kids off the streets. Realionaire is also known as a motivational speaker and he's using his skills to educate and mentor the youth by pursuing a career in rapping.  Today, we received Realionaire's first single and it's called "Poverty."
