Comedian Mike Epps Takes Over WGCI's Morning Riot And Surprise Kids After School

Over a decade ago, the world was introduced to one of the funniest comics to ever hit the scene in the comedy movie "Next Friday." Now in 2012, Funnyman Mike Epps is still taking the world by storm. On yesterday, March 29th, he stepped in Chicago to take over WGCI's Morning Riot. He talked about everything from Trayvon Martin to the leaked phone call he had with his daughter that went viral over the web. He also spoke on the Late Great Whitney Houston. He talked about the influence she had on the world and how he got a chance to play in a movie with her before she died.

Comedian Kim Coles Hits Chicago To Host 'Rock The Red' Fashion Show

Kim Coles, best known for her role as "Synclaire" in the hit comedy series "Living Single," stepped in Chicago this past Saturday to host "The 3rd Annual Rock The Red Fashion Show." It was held at the Society Art Gallery in the City's West Loop and it was presented by "The Red Pump Project." For those of you who may not know, The Red Pump Project is a nonprofit organization founded by Luvvie Ajayi and Karyn Watkins. Its mission is to raise awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls in the community.

Chrissy and Jim Jones Stops In Chicago To Host Two Separate Parties

We all have heard of power couples like Beyonce and Jay-Z along with Will and Jada Smith, right? Now, from out of nowhere, it's another couple on the rise and they seem to be drawing attention. It's Dipset rapper Jim Jones and his lovely fiancee Chrissy from the hit reality show "Love & Hip Hop." This past weekend, the two stopped in Chicago to host two separate parties. The events took place in the City's South Suburb and they were jammed packed from wall to wall. During the event, we caught up with the couple at Club DeJa Vu. We asked them about their future plans and about the baby rumors surrounding the web; unfortunately, we were unsuccessful. It seemed that they were too busy interacting and taking pictures with all their loyal fans; however, they did reach out to us before leaving the club. WGCI March With Community To Seek Justice For Trayvon Martin

Still no justice for Trayvon! For those of you who may not know, Trayvon Martin (a 17 year old high school student) was shot and killed by George Zimmerman (a neighborhood watch captain) in the State of Florida. According to reports, Zimmerman told the police that the incident was in self-defense and taking him at his word, police made no arrest, nor did they give him a drug or alcohol test which caused Trayvon's family and supporters around the world to break out in outrage. This past Friday March 23rd, Chicago's own WGCI came out to joined the community and its loyal listeners to show their support for the fallen victim with a non-violent march. This gathering took place at State and Lake Street in the heart of Downtown Chicago in the front of ABC Studios. Throughout the demonstration, supporters came out with their hoodies and signs saying, "I am Trayvon Martin" while others let their voices be heard by expressing their thoughts with the public. French Montana Talks One On One With WGCI's Loni Swain

This past Monday, Bad Boy recording artist French Montana made his way to Chicago to talk with WGCI's Loni Swain. During the interview, Swain talked to the rapper about everything from signing with Bad Boy to how he felt about the beef between Common and Drake. He also open up about his earlier life in Morocco. Guess What Legend Stopped By WGCI For St. Patrick's Day?

When it comes to St. Patrick's Day, people often laugh and joke about finding the little Leprechaun who stands with a pot of gold; unfortunately, this year, nobody wish came true. However, they did find themselves in the presence of another little big man - Hip Hop Legend Bushwick Bill. Bushwick stopped in the Windy City, this past weekend, to work with Chicago's own Soundmaster T and during the time of his visit, he made his way to WGCI to kick it with DJ A-OH. They talked about his new faith in God, him doing another Geto Boys album, and he even spoke on politics and immigration laws. The most hilarious part of the interview was when Bushwick talked about his run-in with Superstar Meagan Good. When it comes to making an entrance in a room, nobody does it better than sexy Meagan Good. We caught up with the actress this past Friday, when she showed up in Chicago to co-host a party with R&B singer Verse Simmons. The event took place at Adrianna's and the place was packed. Throughout the night, Meagan captivated her fans with her sexy smile as she took pics with her loyal fans. She also got surprised by another superstar, who was big fan - Bushwick of the Geto Boys. Bushwick told us his reason for being in the city was that he was working with producer Soundmaster T and when he heard that Meagan was in town, he made it his business to come out and show some love. Rapper Nelly Hits Up Chicago To Host Remy Martin Exclusive Party

Last night, Superstar rapper Nelly stopped in Chicago to host an exclusive event sponsored by Remy Martin. The party took place in the City's West Loop and it was a night to go down in history. During the event, Nelly mentioned he would be working with Chicago's own Da Internz on a future project and to be on the look for some other great things as well.
