Comedian Mike Epps Takes Over WGCI's Morning Riot And Surprise Kids After School
Over a decade ago, the world was introduced to one of the funniest comics to ever hit the scene in the comedy movie "Next Friday." Now in 2012, Funnyman Mike Epps is still taking the world by storm.
On yesterday, March 29th, he stepped in Chicago to take over WGCI's Morning Riot. He talked about everything from Trayvon Martin to the leaked phone call he had with his daughter that went viral over the web. He also spoke on the Late Great Whitney Houston. He talked about the influence she had on the world and how he got a chance to play in a movie with her before she died.
Hours later, we caught up with Epps and WGCI's Tony Sculfield on 63rd and Woodlawn on the City's South Side. They mentioned their reason for being out in the community was that they wanted to surprise and talk to all the kids as they were getting out of school.
While being out in the streets, Epps did the thing that he loves best... he laughed and joked with all the kids as they were passing on their way home. He even took time to take pictures with them before pulling off to his next engagement.
