Twista Wants The World To Know It's "Showtime"
When it comes to making a mark in the World of Hip Hop, nobody does it better than Chicago's own Twista. Not only is he working hard to continue his legacy, he's bringing out a new artist and his name is "Showtime."
On last night, April 10th, we caught up with Twista and his new protege at his video release party for his new single. The event took place at Club Ultra Lounge on Chicago's North Side and it was hosted by another up and coming artist and her name is J-Lyn.
Throughout the night, people came from everywhere as they packed the house to support Twista's new movement. He even had a few surprise guests and one of them just happened to be The Real Rick Ross.
For those of you may not know, The Real Rick Ross is not a rapper. He's actually an ex drug trafficker who's old habits and lifestyle is being portrayed by the Rapper Rick Ross, so he says.
When we asked Ross what was his real reason for being in town, he mentioned he was here to do a public speaking at St. Francis University and since he was in the area, he wanted to stop by and show some love.
Also, in attendance were some other names you may know like Chicago's own Crucial Conflict, Delle Del, Soundmaster T, Chu from the Darkside, The Blok Beauties, and Choppa from "Making The Band."
