DJ Sean Mac Named GSA's 'Midwest Club DJ of the Year'

When you think of people being honored in the music industry, most of the time we hear about people like singers, song writers, and producers, but not too much about the deejays (the ones who break the music).

On last week (November 19), the Global Spin Awards paid respect to the deejays for their hard work and contribution and one of the winners just happened to be a Chicago favorite. His name is DJ Sean Mac and he's been named GSA's "2012 Midwest Club DJ of the Year."


For those who don't know, Sean Mac has branded himself as one of the most sought out DJs in the Chicago scene and beyond! He's worked alongside big names like DJ Drama, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and more, continuing to raise the bar for the nation's most elite nightlife experiences.

Other winners from Chicago include: Power 92's DJ Pharris "Midwest Mixshow DJ of the Year;" WGCI's DJ Dimepiece "Best Female DJ of the Year;" and WGCI's DJ V Dub "Midwest Mixtape DJ of the Year."
