Chicago Rapper Chief Keef Sentenced To Two Months

After violating his probation on a gun conviction, Chicago rapper Chief Keef has been sentenced to 60 days in juvenile detention. The news broke yesterday (Jan. 17th) after a judge ruled the rapper had broke the court's order.

Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, apologized to the court for his mistakes stating, "I am a good-hearted person." "I am sorry for anything that I have done wrong. ... Give me a chance." Unfortunately, the judge wasn't swayed.

Cozart will be held in the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice. His next hearing is scheduled for March.
