[Exclusive] Syesha Mercado Speaks On Being American Idol Finalist, Her Role In New Stage Play, & Upcoming Projects
On yesterday, we caught up with Actress/Singer Syesha Mercado in Downtown Chicago for an exclusive interview. Most of you may know her as a finalist on American Idol's Season 7.
In the video, Mercado talks about her early days being on American Idol and she reminisces briefly on playing the iconic role of Deena Jones in the stage play Dreamgirls. She also speaks on her new role of Nabulungi in the Tony Award-winning musical The Book of Mormon, which is being shown at the Bank of America Theatre in Chicago.
