R. Kelly Released From Jail After Posting Bail

R&B singer R. Kelly posted bail for $100,000 and was released from Cook County jail on Monday, after he appeared in court and entered a not guilty plea to all 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse. It's reported , Kelly walked out of jail with his lawyer and was waited on by fans and media; however, he could be locked up again next week, if he fails to pay back child support to his ex-wife Drea Kelly  Meanwhile, R. Kelly was spotted at McDonald's last night, for a quick bite to eat, before focusing on his defense case. Check out the video after the jump and don't forget to share your comments.

R Kelly Turns Himself In To Police After Being Charged With Sexual Abuse

Talk about a legacy going down the drain, R&B singer R Kelly surrendered and turned himself in last night to Chicago police, after being charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. According to TMZ , they are 4 alleged victims in total and they range from 13 to 16 years of age.  It's also reported, Michael Avenatti will be representing at least 1 of the victims and he plans to bring down Kelly and his enablers, as he claims protected the singer while he was sexually abusing girls. Meanwhile, R Kelly is facing serious time for criminal sexual abuse and he could get life in prison.

WGCI Talks With Chicago Kid Behind "VULTURE" Clothing Line

While other kids are doing homework after school, AJ Partee continues to aim high and make moves with his brand. Last night, the Chicago kid stopped by WGCI to talk with Keke about his clothing line "VULTURE." During his visit, he shared a lot of information, including how he got the brand started. "In school, I do like a digital media class so we be practicing making logos so I just started making stuff and then my Dad starting working on it too because he use to own a t-shirt shop... so once he made the logo it was just easy because he had all the old stuff from his old Partee's shop so he started making shirts and I started wearing them and then a lot of people started asking me where I got em from and stuff."   AJ also talked to WGCI's radio personality Keke about being a 16-year-old CPS student in the City of Chicago, who his favorite rapper, his goals for the future, and a whole lot more.  Meanwhile, you can check out AJ's movement...

Nike Teams Up With Chicago Graphic Artist Mia Lee For Special Event

While fans were celebrating NBA All-star Weekend in Charlotte NC, Nike presented some big events of their own. The festivities took place at the Jordan Store in Chicago and the events ran for 5 days. During the showcase, Nike Basketball and the Jordan Brand gave fans the chance to enjoy product demos of their latest innovation Adapt BB and the Jordan Why Not Zer0.2 before it hits retail. Nike also gave fans a special customization experience, which were designed and created by Mia Lee.  Mia Lee is an animator from Chicago and she's known for incorporating art with her witty signature cartoons, winding animations and pop art to depict themes of love, lust, the afterlife, as she puts it. Nike Gives First-Look of the All New "Adapt BB Shoe" In Chicago

Just in time for NBA All-star Weekend, Nike held an exclusive event to give the media a first look at the new Adapt BB shoe, today. The event took place at the Jordan flagship store in Chicago and it was packed. During the event, guests got the opportunity to witness the new shoe and learn a lot about it's high-tech features, while others got a chance to try on the shoe for pickup games before it hits retail. The shoe comes in black and it has a highly advanced fitting system. This software allows you to set the comfort of the shoe manually or you can change with an app on your smartphone. We found this technology to be so dope, we think this shoe is a real game changer for Nike and the future to come. The Nike Adapt is set for release this weekend and we know it's bound to fly off the shelves. Chance The Rapper Set To Drop New Album in July 2019

Back in the Summer of 2018, Chance The Rapper announced that he was in the studio working on a new collaborative LP with his mentor Kanye West called Good Ass Job ; however, that project never came to light. Now, fast forward today (2/11), Chance takes to social media for a new announcement. According to his short video on Instagram, the Chicago rapper mentioned we should see new music from him in July, but he's yet to release a title for the project.  As of now, Chance is on the campaign trail helping and endorsing his friend Amara Enyia to become the first African American female as new Mayor for City of Chicago so don't forget to hit the polls.

Nike Teams Up With 11-Year-Old Chicago Kid For #BHM

In support of Black History Month, #Nike teamed up 11-year-old Jahkil Jackson and his Non-profit organization "Project I Am" to give back to the community yesterday on Chicago's South Side. Some of you may be familiar with "Project I Am" as the organizations that delivers "Blessings Bags." These bags come filled with socks, gloves, hygiene products, and more to help those in need. Jahkil started the program at 8 years old and since then, he has been honored by the Obama Foundation. On yesterday, Jahkil continued his mission as he and Nike came together at the Boys and Girls Club. During this special community event, supporters got a chance to join an important panel discussion, participate in games, and also watch Jahkil as he demonstrated how he put together "Blessing Bags."
