Nike Teams Up With 11-Year-Old Chicago Kid For #BHM

In support of Black History Month, #Nike teamed up 11-year-old Jahkil Jackson and his Non-profit organization "Project I Am" to give back to the community yesterday on Chicago's South Side.

Some of you may be familiar with "Project I Am" as the organizations that delivers "Blessings Bags." These bags come filled with socks, gloves, hygiene products, and more to help those in need. Jahkil started the program at 8 years old and since then, he has been honored by the Obama Foundation.

On yesterday, Jahkil continued his mission as he and Nike came together at the Boys and Girls Club.

During this special community event, supporters got a chance to join an important panel discussion, participate in games, and also watch Jahkil as he demonstrated how he put together "Blessing Bags."

And closing out the day, kids got a chance to meet some of their favorite athletes, while others helped out. It was a ton of fun and I'm sure we'll be hearing a lot more from Jahkil Jackson in the future.
