Puma sneakers have been around the hip hop culture for over 30 years and still the legacy continues. Last night, the sneaker giant teamed up with Dave Jeff and former Yo! MTV Raps host Ed Lover for a historic event. It was held to highlight the new RSX shoe and it took place in Chicago's South Loop. During the event, supporters got the chance to mix and mingle, while witnessing the colorful sneaker. They also got to see a live interview with G-Herbo, who spoke on his life growing up in Chicago and his past run-ins with the law. He also spoke on his new album, which he says will drop this Summer.  Meanwhile, the new Puma RSX are scheduled to hit retail today so get up and go get yours now.

After a ton of twists and turns with his case, "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett has been let off the hook. News  broke earlier today, Cook County State Attorney's office dropped all charges against the actor, after being accused of faking his own hate crime in Chicago in order to gain publicity for his career. The news came as a shock to many, especially to Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who were upset at the decision and felt the case should have went to trial. The City of Chicago is known for having some of the greatest food restaurants in the world, and now, they're adding a new flavor to the city, giving us a taste of a soul food served South Beach style. The place is called Finga Licking and it's a hot new spot, bringing you the food, music, and culture from the streets of Miami, FL. Some of you may be familiar with the business through the likes of DJ Khaled and Elric "E Class" Prince and now, they have teamed up with Lenny "Coffey" Weston to bring The Licking to Chicago and to open more locations in the Midwest.  The Chicago location is set for 5045 W. Madison, on the City's West Side, and it's scheduled to open in May. The menu is full of selections and it consists of everything from seafood to pasta, in addition with fried foods like chicken & red velvet waffles with wide a range of side items to choose from. Summer is around the corner and today, Lollapalooza announces the official lineup and dates for this year's event. The 4-day festival will take place in Chicago's Grant Park and it's set for Aug. 1-4, 2019. Headliners include Ariana Grande and Childish Gambino along with other artists like Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, Meek Mill, Janelle Monae, Lil Baby, Diesel (Shaquille O'Neal) and many others.  Four-day general admission tickets are now on sale; however, single-day passes are not available as of yet. Those passes will be sold on a later date, according to the official website for  Lollapalooza .

Some artists are afraid of catching sophomore jinx on their 2nd album, but not Juice WRLD. This week, the Chicago rapper debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200 with his latest Death Race for Love LP. Since his release from prison in January, DMX has been spotted everywhere. He was captured in the studio with Swizz Beatz over a week ago and earlier this week, he was seen performing at SXSW. Today, the former Def Jam icon was caught hanging out in California with Kanye West for a historic hip hop moment at Sunday Service.  During the event, DMX is captured getting the crowd in the spirit, while giving the "Morning's prayer." Fresh off the heels of getting married to his longtime girlfriend, Kirsten Corley, Chance The Rapper has more good news to share with the world. It seems the Bennetts are expecting their 2nd baby. The news broke earlier today when Chance took to Instagram saying, "We pregnant again. Its a girl. JESUS CHRIST. WE LOVE YOU GOD." He also added in caption "New baby droppin September." This will be the couple's 2nd girl following their 3-year-old daughter Kensli. Congratulations guys!

Update: Standing quietly in the Cook County courthouse with his attorneys, "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett entered a plea of not guilty to 16-felony counts of disorderly conduct at his arraignment this morning. It's  reported , Judge Steven Watkins has been assigned to the case and he has granted a motion to allow the "Empire" actor to travel to New York and California, where his lawyers offices are located.   It's also been reported , Smollett next court appearance is set for Wednesday morning of April 17th. Still celebrating his new single "I Just Wanna" going #1 on the DRT INDIE charts, R&B singer Jon Locke stopped by 88.9 FM in Chicago this past weekend to talk with DJ Lil Jon and Brian Stinson.  During his visit, the Chicago artist spoke on his new single, how he gets his inspiration for music and naming his label after his late father, who once played drums for Tyrone Davis and The Impressions. Congratulations! Chance The Rapper tied the knot and married his longtime girlfriend Kirsten Corley.  The wedding took place, this past Saturday (3/9), at a waterfront resort in Newport Beach, CA and celebrity guests included comedian Dave Chappelle, Kanye West, and his wife Kim Kardashian. According to our source , the newlyweds have known each other since they were 9 years old and they both share a beautiful 3-year-old daughter, Kensli, who was sitting front row at the ceremony. Yeezy season has returned and Kanye West is back in a good place. Yesterday, the Yeezus rapper was spotted in Portland at the Adidas Headquarters and he put on a Sunday Service performance. During the event, Ye is spotted in a red room accompanied by a live band and full gospel choir that helped him re-create some of his songs like "Jesus Walks" and Fred Hammond's "This Is The Day." Sitting down for his first one-on-one interview since being arrested for 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse, R. Kelly talks with CBS This Morning host Gayle King about his recent allegations.  During the interview, the R&B singer is shown denying all claims and allegations against him saying "Whether they're old rumors, new rumors, future rumors, not true."  In the interview, Kelly is also shown sobbing saying "Stop It. All you quit playing. Quit playing. I didn't do this stuff! This is not me! I'm fighting for my f***ing life!"  Although, the R&B singer denies all sexual abuse claims, he's still being faced with paying up to $200k in back child support to his ex-wife Drea Kelly.  Meanwhile, the full interview is set to air Wednesday morning (3/6/19) on CBS This Morning show.
