Jussie Smollett Charges Dropped

After a ton of twists and turns with his case, "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett has been let off the hook.

News broke earlier today, Cook County State Attorney's office dropped all charges against the actor, after being accused of faking his own hate crime in Chicago in order to gain publicity for his career.

The news came as a shock to many, especially to Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who were upset at the decision and felt the case should have went to trial.
