Chance The Rapper, Common, & Taylor Bennett Set To Perform At All-star Weekend In Chicago
For the first time since 1988, the NBA will host All-star Weekend in the City of Chicago and they're including some hometown heros. According to the NBA's social media account, fans will see special performances from hip hop vet Common, Chance The Rapper, and his little brother Taylor Bennett.
It's reported, Common will introduce the All-star roster to the floor before the game, while Chance The Rapper performs the evening's halftime show, singing some of his biggest hits with guests.
Taylor Bennett will perform halftime on February 14th at the Rising-Stars Game and he will also serve as an All-star ambassador, with his brother Chance, to engage with fans and other programs.
Chance The Rapper took to social media, last night, to share the news with his fans and here's what he had to say - "I'm very excited to be the performer for the halftime show at the All-star game," said Chance. He also added, "Very happy to bring it to Chicago... Chicago stand up, we got this one."
Meanwhile, the NBA All-star Game take place on Feb. 16th, at the United Center, so get your tickets.
