City of Chicago Offers Free Lollapalooza Tickets to Vaccinated Residents

After a long tiresome year of being stuck at home, due to the pandemic, the City of Chicago is back open and you know what that means, some of your favorite Summer activities are back in town.

That's right! It's true! Chicago is back open, and in celebration, the City is giving away 1,200 single-day passes to Lollapalooza (one of the largest Summer events that takes place in Grant Park).

This year, the four-day music festival will be held July 29th to August 1st and passes have been donated by the organizers for vaccinated Chicagoans and passes will also be distributed to those who make a special appointment at select City vaccination sites, according to press release on yesterday.

"Lollapalooza has called Chicago home for the past 16 years, and we truly love this vibrant city," said Charlie Walker, partner, C3 Presents. "We are pleased to partner with and support the City to encourage vaccinations."

On Saturday, June 26th, the City of Chicago will have four vaccination facilities transformed into a Lollapalooza experience -- each having DJs on deck spinning music along with prizes and giveaways. Each site will offer passes to a different day of the music festival and tickets will be available for pick up on July 10 at the House of Blues. Check out the sites below and see which ones are closest to you.
