[Video] Common Brings Out Kanye West for Surprise Performance at AAHH Fest

Living up to all the hype, AAHH Fest 2014 served all that and more last night for hip hop fans. Not only did it have an awesome lineup, it also had some pretty big surprises as well. The event took place in Chicago's Union Park and it was presented by Common with Dave Chappelle as host.

Kicking off the main stage, Chicago rapper Lil Herb turnt up the crowd with his opening performance followed by CZA and Jay Electronica. Legendary group De La Soul electrified the stage with their hip hop classics along with veteran rapper MC Lyte, who surprised the crowd by bringing out Lil Mama.

Later in the evening, R&B songstress Jennifer Hudson took the stage and smoothed things out with a powerful vocal performance, singing songs from her past and upcoming album. Hometown rapper Lupe Fiasco turned back up the crowd with his display of genius, spitting rhymes hot like lava.

Closing out the night, Common took center stage, in front of his hometown crowd, performing songs from his two decade career with classic tracks and new joints from his latest album Nobody's Smiling. Before ending the show, Com took to the crowd and thanked them for their undying support and then brought out Twista for a few songs followed by the biggest surprise of the evening, Kanye West.

[Video] Nicki Minaj Reacts To Ellen Degeneres "Anaconda"

Over the last few weeks, Nicki Minaj has definitely made major noise with her latest video "Anaconda" and now, the Young Money rapper has came across a new version of the visual. On yesterday, Nicki stopped by the Ellen Degeneres Show and during her visit, she witnessed Ellen's hilarious parody.

[New Music] MC Lyte "Dear John" feat Common

After a long hiatus from making music, legendary rapper MC Lyte delivers new track with Chicago's own Common. The song is called "Dear John" and its set to appear on Lyte's Centric 'Being' special.
"Dear John" is anthem for #EducateOURMen, which is the signature scholarship initiative of MC Lyte's Hip Hop Sisters Foundation, which has presented two $100,000 university scholarships during the Soul Train Music Awards Red Carper Pre-Show each year since the organization's founding. This year, the foundation will present dozens of scholarships earmarked to send men of color to HBCU's. 
MC Lyte is also set to perform at this year's BET Hip Hop Awards, where she will perform "I Wanna Be Down" with Brandy, Yo-Yo, and Queen Latifah. Until then, check out Lyte's "Dear John" below.

[Video] Rich Homie Quan Gets Into Scuffle At Adrien Broner Fight

This past weekend, in Cincinnati, fight fans seemed to have gotten their money worth with a night full of excitement. Not only did they get to witness Adrien Broner knocking down Taylor in the 12th round, it seems they may seen Rich Homie Quan getting into a scuffle as well. 

Kicking off the main event, Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug were in attendance to accompany boxer Adrien Broner to the ring, as they performed their single "Lifestyle" and during the time when they were headed back to their seats, Rich Homie may have gotten into a scuffle with someone who tried to jack him for his gold chain.

[Video] Kanye West Announces Release Date For Adidas Air Yeezy 3's

They're finally coming out! Last night, Kanye West made a big announcement for the sneaker heads, who been impatiently waiting for his new Air Yeezy to drop. During his live show in Australia, Kanye announced that his new shoes with Adidas will be hitting the scene sometime this Fall in November. 
"I feel good because we've been working hard. We got the new Yeezys, the Yeezy IIIs coming in November. And this is just the beginning."

[Audio] Young Jeezy Talks New Album 'Seen It All' with WGCI's Morning Riot

Lil Bibby Covers Chicago's 'Red Eye' Newspaper

In support of his second installment of the Free Crack series, Chicago's rising star Lil Bibby covers The Red Eye. In the article, the Chicago rapper talks about his new mixtape, being on XXL Freshmen cover, and his neighborhood, which he speaks on the trouble that's surrounds the streets of Chicago. 
"I don't know what to do about it. I just did a little back-to-school thing and gave away backpacks and supplies for the kids. I'm trying to think of a way to do more, but it's hard, man. People are one-track minded. All they want to do is stay in the same zone. There's no way out of it if you're gangbanging. It's either death, you're in [prison] or you grow up to be an old drunk or something. It's a repeated cycle."

Despite the controversy that's been surrounding his Under The Influence concert, over the last week, Wiz Khalifa stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to have some fun. During the show, Wiz spoke on his new album 'Blacc Hollywood,' being tatted up, amount of pot he smokes, and more. Later, in the show, Wiz participated in a game with Jimmy Kimmel called "We Dem Boyz or Not Dem Boyz."

Usher Announces 'The UR Experience' Tour Dates

Not only is Usher gearing up to release a brand new studio album, he's ready to kick off his upcoming tour as well. Come this Fall, Usher will hit the road with The UR Experience and he's bringing R&B singer August Alsina along. [Video] Kid Cudi Faints During Concert In Chicago

This past weekend, Kid Cudi gave his fans a scare during his set at the North Coast music festival in Chicago's Union Park. While performing, the rapper stopped for a moment to sign an autograph for a fan and just like that, he passed out. Luckily, security was on site to catch Cudi as he fell. Later, the former G.O.O.D. Music rapper took to Twitter to apologies for what may have caused him to faint.
