Chance The Rapper, Common, & Taylor Bennett Set To Perform At All-star Weekend In Chicago

For the first time since 1988, the NBA will host All-star Weekend in the City of Chicago and they're including some hometown heros. According to the NBA's social media account, fans will see special performances from hip hop vet Common, Chance The Rapper, and his little brother Taylor Bennett. It's reported , Common will introduce the All-star roster to the floor before the game, while Chance The Rapper performs the evening's halftime show, singing some of his biggest hits with guests. Taylor Bennett will perform halftime on February 14th at the Rising-Stars Game and he will also serve as an All-star ambassador, with his brother Chance, to engage with fans and other programs. Chance The Rapper took to social media, last night, to share the news with his fans and here's what he had to say - "I'm very excited to be the performer for the halftime show at the All-star game," said Chance. Chance The Rapper Cancels 2020 Tour

Just weeks before hitting the road, Chance The Rapper has decided to cancel dates for the Big Tour and this comes as no surprise for fans. If you remember, back in September, Chance postponed his tour to be with family and judging by his statement he posted this week, this maybe a similar case.  "I know it sucks and its been a lot of back and forth with reschedules and rerouting, but it's for the best. I'm gonna take this time to be with family, make some new music and develop my best show to date," said Chance.  He also went on to say, "I promise to come back much stronger and better in 2020 and hope to see some of you guys there." As of now, fans who purchased tickets should be able to get a full refund.   In the meantime, Chance The Rapper and his Social Works team are scheduled to kick off their annual A Night At The Museum event on Thursday, December. 19th, which is put together to help those in need this Xmas. Chicago Bulls & Zenni Optical Launch "Framing The Future" Initiative For Kids

Just in time for the holidays, the Chicago Bulls and their official sponsor Zenni Optical partners with the Chicago Park District for a new initiative called  Framing The Future, which is a new program put together to provide affordable eye wear and eye protection for Chicago kids in the community. On yesterday, the Bulls and Zenni kicked off the new initiative with a special pep rally. It was held on Chicago's Near West Side, at Fosco Park, and it was packed with hundreds of kids in attendance.  During the event, kids got the opportunity to participate in a lot of cool games, along with receiving a ton of surprises. They even got to witness a live read with Benny The Bull and his new children's book, in addition to hanging out with Shaquille Harrison and Wendell Carter of the Chicago Bulls.  The event turned out to be a great success last night and parents seemed to be very happy to see The Bulls and Zenni giving back.  Afterwards, we caught up with Sean P

Juice WRLD Dies At Age 21

Just when his music career was about to take off, JUICE WRLD has passed away at the young age of 21. According to TMZ , the rapper had just landed into Chicago from a flight out of California and seemed to have suffered from a seizure, while walking through Midway Airport. It's also reported , the rapper - who real name is Jarad Anthony Higgins - was still conscious when he was rushed to the hospital; however, he passed away a short-time afterwards. His cause of death is unclear at this time. We will keep you updated as this story develops... 

SuccezZ Teams Up With Nike For Free Haircuts & "SuccezZful Toy Drive" for Kids

SuccezZ teams up with the good people at Nike to present "CutzZ For The City." The 1 day event was held at SuccezZ in Chicago's South Loop and it was in celebration of the "All For 1 - Chicago" Air Force 1 release, which was inspired by "No Cuts No Glory" barbershop headed by Drew Henderson.  Yesterday, customers poured into SuccezZ, as they gathered into the "CutzZ For The City" event. Not only did they get free haircuts by Shug Sharp, they received courtesy shoe cleaning as well, in addition to plenty of free food and sounds provided by DJ Word and Mustafa Rocks for enjoyment. The "CutzZ For The City" event also kicked off the store's  SuccezZful Toy Drive , which is an new initiative that accepted toy donations to give back to the less fortunate for the Xmas holiday season. Man, I'm telling you this event was big and I definitely gotta take my hat off to SuccezZ and Nike for giving back to the community.

Ryan Henry & Charmaine Talk About New Season of "Black Ink Crew Chicago"

Packed with more laughs and drama, Black Ink Crew is back for Season 6! Last night, VH1 held an exclusive red carpet premiere in Chicago and Ryan Henry, along with the rest of the cast, were in attendance. The event was held at Showplace ICON Theater and it was packed with supporting fans. During the event, we caught up with Ryan Henry and he talked about Black Ink's new season. He also spoke with us about former cast members that are not returning. "Nobody can take your girl you give up," says Ryan, as he laughs.  He also added, "Everybody that grow with you, can't go with you." Next on the red carpet, we spoke with Charmaine and she shared some exciting news. Not only is she expecting a new baby, she will be presenting her new tattoo shop 2 nd City Ink in this new season.  I'm telling you, the red carpet event was great and this season is a must see, you don't want to miss.
