WGCI's Tony Scufield Join Chicago Community To Encourage Kids To 'Put The Guns Down'

Over the last few years in Chicago, the City has been known in national headlines, around the world, for its increasingly shootings and gang violence. Fortunately, on yesterday (5/23), communities came together with a new initiative to help take back the streets and encourage kids to put the guns down.

The events took place across the city and it was filled with fun, food, music, and more neighborhood activities for families and kids. During one of the events, we caught up with WGCI's Tony Scufield on the City's South Side and he was joined by Father Pfleger, Chicago's 1st Lady Amy Emanuel, and House legend Farley Jackmaster Funk. You can check pics and video from the event after the jump.
