Demi Lobo Leaves Chicago's WGCI For New Opportunities In L.A.

Over the last 7 months, Chicago's own 107.5 WGCI has made a major shake up with the lineup on their radio station, by releasing some of their favorite personalities. Now, one of their brighest stars, Demi Lobo, is making some moves of her own. After nearly five years of working as a Part-time On-air Personality, Demi Lobo has decided to leave WGCI for a career in L.A. to be amongst the stars.

This past weekend, we caught up with the former WGCI radio personality at her "Going Away" party in Chicago's South Loop, which was filled with former colleagues, friends, and industry associates. During our discussion, we talked with Demi about her new venture and here's what she had to say:
"After 5 years of working in the 3rd largest market and diving into many genres of media, I decided to take a leap of faith and explore other opportunities in Los Angeles, the 2nd largest market in Media Entertainment." I plan to continue to elevate my talents to the next level while pursuing my dreams and goals as an On-camera correspondent, actress, radio personality, celebrity blogger, artist and entrepreneur."
Meanwhile, Demi is currently working as an Assignment Editor & Entertainment Correspondent for Sister 2 Sister Magazine in Los Angeles. After the jump, check out pictures from her "Going Away" party in Chicago.
