[Video] Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, Fetty Wap & Others Perform At WGCI's Summer Jam

Packed with energy, music and superstars, Chicago's WGCI captured and gained their listeners respect with Summer Jam 2015. This past weekend, the Hip Hop and R&B station presented the second installment of their summer concert series at the United Center and it was packed with fans.

During the event, WGCI entertained their listeners with an awesome lineup and introduced the crowd to their new Morning Takeover along with awarding two students for their academics achievements.

Kicking off the show, Atlantic Recording artist Sevyn Streeter hit center stage looking sexy as usual followed by hip hop's newest rising star Fetty Wap, who got the crowd off its feet with "Trap Queen."

Next, R&B singer Jeremih took the stage, in front of his home crowd, smoothing things out for the ladies and he was packed with full of surprises. He brought out his fellow Chicagoan Chance The Rapper to perform "Planes (Remix)" and ended his set with "Like Me" featuring Def Jam's Lil Durk.

New Orleans native August Alsina made his first appearance at Summer Jam and he captivated the ladies with his unique-edgy style of R&B with songs like "I Luv This," "Hold You Down" and more.

Up next, R&B singer Trey Songz made his 2nd appearance at Summer Jam and he showed the city a lot of love, wearing his red and blue Chicago Cubs jersey. He performed songs from his past and present catalog and he brought out Def Loaf to perform her verses from "Post To Be" and "Try Me."

Closing out the event, Lil Wayne took center stage and wasted no time hitting the crowd with his long list of hits. The Young Money rapper electrified the stage from start to finish and proved to his critics that he no longer needs Birdman anymore and that he has no plans on slowing down soon.

Meanwhile, Wayne is rumored to drop his Free Weezy project sometime next month in July. Until then, check out exclusives pics and video that we captured from WGCI Summer Jam after the jump.
