Chance The Rapper & Social Works Announce It's 3rd Annual Black History Month Film Festival


Chance The Rapper and his non-profit organization Social Works continue to do great work. Today, they will kickoff their 3rd Annual Black History Month Film Festival in Chicago and this celebration will run every weekend from February 1st through March 1st, excluding February 14th thru the 16th. 

During the festival, you will get to see Black movies like Hollywood Shuffle with Robert Townsend, Set It Off with Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett, Akeelah and The Bee with Keke Palmer and more.

The final day of the festival will highlight some of the best young indie filmmakers from Chicago and this year films include Sugar Hill, Brother from the Suburbs, The CTA Project and Present Tense.

The celebration will take place at the SHOWPLACE ICON THEATRE in Chicago's South Loop and you can purchase tickets by clicking here.
