Common To Give Out Free Groceries In Chicago As Part of "Feed Your City Challenge"

Celebrities from all around and across the country have been helping out, amid the pandemic, with the Feed Your City Challenge initiative and now the tour is making it's way to Chicago.

The next celebrity set to join in on the Feed Your City Challenge is Grammy Award winning rapper Common and he will be returning to his hometown Chicago to give out free groceries to those in need.

The event is scheduled to take place on Chicago's South Side on October 17th and Common will be joined by producer NO I.D., singer-songwriter Jhene Aiko, actor Nick Cannon and Chicago's own G. Herbo.

The event starts at 2 p.m. and it will end once all supplies are gone. There will also be a two-lane non-contact drive-thru and a separate line for all walk-ups following all CDC social guidelines.

Text FeedChi to (334) 508-4244 to register for the free groceries.

Location is 10355 South Woodlawn in the Pullman Center.
